The best advice I ever received was to "pursue your passions". I was told "there are many things in life that will catch your eye, but only a few will catch your heart".
Growing up, my parents always supported me and encouraged me to participate in many sports. However, somehow a sport meant for people twice my size grabbed my heart and has yet to let go. I love, and still love, the sport of basketball.
