@FemixSport 'Flash Mob' hits France - Les 24 heures du sport féminin

France celebrates with a day of WomenSport

Saturday 24 February - Under the banner of "24 hours of women's sport” the French government, in collaboration with Femix Sports, French non-profits, and the National and French Sport Olympic Committee, organised a day for women’s sport.  

Events included - A “Flash Mob” on the famous "Champs Elysées”  in Paris with over 100 sportswomen participating. Matches in a wide range of sports such as Rugby, Volleyball, Ping-pong, basketball, ice hockey, and football and conferences on “Breaking sport’s women stereotypes” and “Feminine leadership.”

The day had special coverage from French television, radio and print. TV 5 Monde and the Belgium national television - all associated with the celebration to help reach a broader European audience.
